Post your love through the letterbox, send a Fold+Rºll

When I was planning Fold+Rºlls I decided to make them super easy to post so I could sell them on the internet with no fuss. Basically, the easier the box is to post, the more time I can spend on the box contents. And for a very simple product, it’s surprising just how much time refreshing the design and researching new materials takes (watch this space for new colours, fabrics and sizes).

Streamline delivery - it’s about the box

Having waited long hours for deliveries, I wanted to make sure that Fold+Rºlls were super easy to deliver securely without having to be there to receive them.

Finding a postal box that worked perfectly to fit was tricky, there were quite a few that were a fraction too small - and the Fold+Rºlls would have been crushed and wrinkled.

What’s (in) the box?

So I found a Tiny Box Company box that goes straight through letter boxes. I worked on the origami required to fit a Fold+Rºll into it, and designed labels and instructions to make sure it arrives in perfect condition.

So if you need to send a smart gift to a friend - without worrying about it not getting there - you can send a Fold+Rºll. They’re packed in slim, recycled boxes that meet the Royal Mail large letter format and will keep your postie happy (of course they’re also delivered by Royal Mail too).

Send your love

We had a few enquiries about adding a card to Fold+Rºlls being sent as presents - so I’ve designed a set of gift cards so that you can personalise your gift and add a message. There’s a ‘bon voyage’ card for friends off on adventures, a ‘keep rolling!’ card and blank designs for your messages.

By design

Here’s an insight into the card design process. I’m a fan of paper, pens and pencils to develop our product!

Fold+Rºlls make perfect presents for friends who like being organised and those who need to be organised. They’re great for the cyclists who ride to work, runners, swimmers, yoga and gym goers who have everything and travellers with carry on cases. Basically everyone who likes a microadventure - whether it’s an off road route to the office or a 36 hour mini-break in a city.

And as Fold+Rºlls are a completely new and original design, very few people will have one already!
