It’s very exciting to have news from our Paris manufacturer that the first Fold+Rºlls have been cut using their laser cutter.

Setting up the production of the Fold+Rºlls has been a rºll-ercoaster ride. Even finding manufacturers within Europe and making sure they could produce the product took a year. So seeing the carefully laid plans coming to be is exciting and scary.

To recap… The fabric was printed in Poland in super fast time at the beginning of January. It then had to make its way across a freezing Europe to the outskirts of Paris - which took longer than the actual printing.

Where we are now

As you can see, the first batch has been cut. Our manufacturer has now scheduled the first batch of sewing in their production schedule.. This will continue over the next week or so as the first fabric pieces progress into the sewing workshop. 

Meanwhile we fervently hope that the packaging will be delivered (from the UK so it has to make its way across the Brexit border) so that the first batch Fold+Rºll can be packed and sent out by the end of February.
